Seal-355-3SE&5SE User Guide_V1.1 1 Product introduction and technical parameter 1.1 Introduction Compared with IR lasers, the UV laser is directly breaking the chemical bond in materials. This process generates much less heat and separate matter into atom level, without destroying the environment. The UV laser has the advantages of short wavelength, easy focusing, small spot size, intense energy and high resolution.

Seal-355-3SE&5SE User Guide_V1.1 4.Laser control 4.1 Control description The output control of laser is mainly controlled by GATE signal, and the output frequency and power are controlled by PWM signal, mainly by changing the frequency cycle and duty cycle of PWM. Duty ratio: the ratio of the high level holding time to the time of the clock cycle in the output PWM signal.
Seal-355-3SE&5SE User Guide_V1.1 4.2 Control mode This laser can use internal control mode and external control mode to control the laser pulse. The mode selection is realized through the mode switch of the GUI interface. Internal control mode: Continuously output laser pulses with the frequency and duty cycle set in the GUI interface.
Seal-355-3SE&5SE User Guide_V1.1 4.2 .1 Control timing To realize the laser pulse in the external control mode, the correct timing signal needs to be connected to the DB15 of the laser. The signal timing is shown in Figure 19. Fig.19 Control timing Control sequence description 1.

Seal-355-3SE&5SE User Guide_V1.1 5. Operation 5.1 Regular Startup Procedure 1) Connect chiller with laser water connector, switch tight. 2) Turn on chiller and set temperature control at 25℃ until it is stable at 25±0.5℃ 3) Check laser outlook condition. If any object/sticker blocks output port, please remove it. 4) Make sure laser controller and laser head properly connected (must connect tightly due to high electric current), check if signal line of marking system and laser System has connected properly.
Seal-355-3SE&5SE User Guide_V1.1 5.3 Caution 1)Wear Laser safety glasses all the time; 2)Stop marking first, and then turn off the laser. 6. Frequently Asked Questions Common questions Causes and solutions Cause: The frequency setting is lower than 20khz, the light becomes weak.
