A slight odour and smoke might appear when using the appliance for the first time. This is due to manufacturing material residues and does not affect the operation of the appliance.
OPERATION
- Turn the temperature knob to the desired position. It is recommended to select the maximum temperature setting at first, and then adjust it.
- Select a low temperature setting for less-cooked waffle batter, and a high temperature setting for more cooked or toasted waffle batter.
- Plug the device into a power supply. The operation and control light indicators will light up, indicating that the device is preheating.
- Let the device preheat until the control light indicator switches off. When it switches off, the non-stick plates will have reached an optimal cooking temperature.
- For best results, pour a few drops of oil on the plates and use absorbent paper to spread the oil all over the plates before use. This will help to easily remove waffles once cooked.
- Pour the mixture onto the non-stick plates. You can use a spoon, a jug, or a pastry bag.
