Parameter
Description
oldInstancePath
Specifies the path to the legacy Directory Server instance. For
example: /usr/netscape/server6/slapd-phonebook.
newInstancePath
Specifies the path to the new (7.x) Directory Server instance.
For example:
/usr/netscape/servers/slapd-phonebook.
Specifies the trace level. The trace level is set to 0 by default,
with a valid range of 0 to 3.
Specifies the file in which to log the migration report. By
default, the migration report is stored under
serverRoot/slapd-serverID/logs/Migration_ddmmyyy_h
hmmss.log. A sample log might read
/usr/netscape/servers/slapd-phonebook/logs/Mi
gration_20122004_153604.log for a log created on 20
December, 2004, at 15.36:04.
ns-accountstatus.pl [-D rootdn] -w password [-p
port] [-h host] -I DN
Parameter
Description
rootdn
Specifies the Directory Server user DN with root permissions,
such as Directory Manager.
password
Specifies the password associated with the user DN.
port
Specifies the Directory Server's port. The default value is the
LDAP port of Directory Server specified at installation time.
