If you prefer a graphical interface for free, you can use the GNOME System Monitor. To start it
from the desktop, go to System => Administration => System Monitor or type gnome-system-
monitor at a shell prompt (such as an XTerm). Click on the Resources tab.

39.3. File Systems

The df command reports the system's disk space usage. If you type the command df at a shell
prompt, the output looks similar to the following:
