3.12 Cache Memory

The S1564 comes with 512Kb of L2 synchronous pipeline burst SRAM.
The S1564's L2 cache is surface mounted and can be enabled or dis-
abled through the BIOS setup.
w The BIOS will auto detect the cache size so a you don't need to change
any jumpers.
w The mainboard has an 11 bit tag built on board so cachability of main
memory is to 512MB.
