In addition to installing your CPU, Tyan highly recommends that you install a CPU fan/heatsink combina- tion, and if needed, additional chassis fans. To this end Tyan has provided several connectors to power the fan(s), as well as the fan pinout (shown above). 2.13 Connecting the power supply This motherboard requires an ATX power supply. Tyan recommends using one that conforms to industry standard Revision 2.01. The images below show the ATX power connector before (Figure 2.8a) and after (Figure 2.8b) it has been plugged in. The clip on the power connector should lock over the tab on the onboard connector. -
