Replace Controller Procedure
Prepare Failed Controller for Replacement
Prepare the failed controller for replacement using CLI commands for standby mode.
Remove Failed Controller from Chassis
Disconnect cables, loosen thumbscrews, and carefully pull the controller from the chassis.
Remove Primary PCIe Cage from New Controller
Remove the primary PCIe cage from the new controller by releasing a fastener.
Transfer Primary PCIe Cage to New Controller
Move the primary PCIe cage from the failed controller to the new controller.
Remove Secondary PCIe Cage from New Controller
Remove the secondary PCIe cage from the new controller if it is present.
Transfer Secondary PCIe Cage to New Controller

Transfer OCP Card to Replacement Controller
