Memory expansion
Your Tablet PC has two DIMM slots. 1 GB and 2 GB modules are available, so that you can install
up to 4 GB of memory on your system.
A DIMM replacement should only be carried out at a suitable workplace. You must
!
statically discharge yourself (e.g. by touching an earthed object). The equipment and tools
you use must be free of static charges. Avoid touching connector pins, conductors or other
circuit components on the Tablet PC. Electrostatic discharge caused by doing so can
damage sensitive components.
Removing and installing memory modules
Please note the information provided in "Notes on installing and removing boards and
!
components" section in "Important notes".
The notebook must be switched off when installing/removing memory modules, and must
not be in Suspend mode.
Only use the manufacturer's memory expansions that have been approved for your
device.
Never use force when installing or removing memory modules.
Make sure that foreign objects do not fall into the memory expansion compartment.
