Deploying Singles Files and Folders

Deploying Singles Files and Folders
This section provides instructions for deploying a single folder or file to one or more
servers.
To deploy to a single location:
1 On the Projects tab, right-click a file and select Deploy File from the popup menu,
or right-click a folder and select Deploy Files in Folder from the popup menu.
A dialog box appears with the message "Are you deploying to multiple servers?"
2 Click No.
The Specify Deployment Location dialog box appears, with Absolute Deployment
Path selected and the cursor positioned in its Deployment Path box.
3 Click the browse icon and select the directory where you need to deploy the file or
folder, or type the absolute
The Deployment Warning dialog box appears, listing the file or files selected for
deployment. You can select Do Not Show this Dialog Again if you do not want a
confirmation to appear for future deployments.
4 Click Deploy to finish deploying the selected file or folder.
To deploy to multiple servers:
1 On the Projects tab, right-click a file and select Deploy File from the popup menu,
or right-click a folder and select Deploy Files in Folder from the popup menu.
A dialog box appears with the message "Are you deploying to multiple servers?"
2 Click Yes.
The Dynamic Deployment Location dialog box appears with the cursor
positioned in the Deployment Path box.
3 Browse to a server under Macromedia FTP & RDS, or type the full
drive letter or server name) in the Deployment Path box. Click OK.
4 In the Select Deployment Servers dialog box, select the servers to deploy to and
