Using Projects for Site Management
Files in auto-inclusive folders
You control the files that are included in an auto-inclusive folder by specifying the files
types that are allowed. You can change the file types at any time to alter the included
files.
To change the types of files allowed in an auto-inclusive folder:
1. Right-click the auto-inclusive folder and select Properties from the menu to see the
Edit Folder Properties dialog box.
2. Change the Include Files Using Filter list to contain the extensions for the file types
you want included in the folder. You can change the extensions by using the
drop-down list or by manually entering the extensions, separated by colons.
3. Click OK.
The list of included files is filtered according to the extensions you specified.

Working with Resources

The Resources tree provides a view of the project files based on the file type. This is
useful for isolating application files, media files, and other content. You can easily edit
the default resource types and add new ones.
Note
To set the initial resources for a project:
1. Open Options > Settings > Projects.
2. Select the Include project resources option.
3. Select individual resources in the Resource Name column.
Click the Edit button to change the filter (file extension) for the selected resource.
4. Click OK to save the resources settings.
You can click the Add button in the Projects pane to add your own resources to the tree
or you can follow the next procedure while working in the Projects tree.
To prevent slow execution of project link verification and extended search and
replace operations caused by parsing large binary files such as exe, pdf, zip, and
media file types, a list of excluded file extensions is installed in the Windows
Registry LinkVerifyExcludeExts key.
