Validating Code
You can use HomeSite code validation to check and report on syntax errors in HTML
(including browser extensions), CFML, and SMIL. Double-click an error message to
highlight it in the document.
Using the default validator
Open Options > Settings > Validation to select the validation levels for the current
document. Click the Validator Settings button to review and change validation rules in
the Validator Configuration dialog box.

Using the CSE HTML Validator
This popular tool can be run from HomeSite. If you have it on your system, you can
enable it and configure it in Options > Settings > Validation.
The CSE Validator supports multiple languages and contains other useful features.
Click the CSE HTML Validator link to visit their site.
Click the Validate current document toolbutton or select Tools > Validate
Document (Shift + F6). The Validation Results pane displays either a "No errors
or warnings" message or lists the syntax errors it found.
Click the Tag validation button on the Editor toolbar or select Tools > Validate
Current Tag (F6) to check the selected tag.
