Extensions

You use the Extensions pages of the Administrator to configure ColdFusion Server to
work with other technologies, such as Java and CORBA. These pages make up the
Administrator Extensions section:

JVM and Java Settings

The JVM and Java Settings page lets you specify settings that enable ColdFusion
Server to work with Java
Setting
Java Virtual Machine Path
Initial Heap Size
Max Heap Size
Load JVM When Starting
ColdFusion
Class Path
System Options
Implementation Options
CFX Jar Path
When finished, click Submit Changes.

Description
The absolute file path to the location of the Java
virtual machine (JVM): jvm.dll in Windows or jvm.so
in Solaris, Linux, and HP-UX
JVM initial heap memory size
JVM maximum heap memory size
Loads the JVM when ColdFusion Server starts up. If
not selected, the JVM loads on the first client request
that requires Java.
The file paths to the directories that contain the Java
classes used by ColdFusion Server: separate paths
by semi-colons in Windows, or colons in Solaris,
Linux, and HP-UX
Standard JVM initialization options, as name-value
pairs: separate options by semi-colons in Windows
and colons in Solaris, Linux, and HP-UX
Implementation-specific JVM initialization options, as
name-value pairs separated by spaces
File path to the ColdFusion cfx.jar file that contains
interfaces used by Java CFX tags
