Insignia NS-HD2114 DVD Shelf System
To set the sleep timer:
1 Press the CLOCK button on the remote control repeatedly to
select S----.
2 Enter the sleep timer interval by pressing the number buttons. For
example, if you want the player to turn off after 45 minutes, press
0,4,5. The player will turn off automatically after 45 minutes.
To set the player to turn on automatically:
1 Press the CLOCK button on the remote control repeatedly to
select O--:--.
2 Enter the turn-on time by pressing the number buttons. For
example, if you want the player to turn on at 5:00PM, press the
CLOCK button to change the display to PM, then press 0,5,0,0.
The player saves the setting automatically.

Troubleshooting

Problem
No power.
The remote
control does not
work.
No picture.
The disc does
not play.
Do not try to repair the shelf system yourself. Doing so will
invalidate your warranty.
Possible cause
AC plug not fully inserted in the
power outlet.
Low batteries.
The remote controller is not
aimed at the shelf system.
Bad connections.
Power cord not securely
connected.
TV not set to video mode
The scan setting of the shelf
system does not match the TV.
The disc was incorrectly
inserted.
The disc is defective.
The disc tray is not closed.
There is condensation in the
disc compartment.

Solution
Make sure the AC plug is fully
inserted in the power outlet.
Replace the batteries with new
ones.
Aim the remote control at the shelf
system.
Reconnect the system using the
illustrations at the beginning of this
User Guide.
Connect the power cord.
Set the TV to video mode.
Reset the scanning mode.
Reinsert the disc with the label side
up.
Try another disc.
Close the disc tray.
Remove the disc and leave the
cover open for about an hour in a
dry environment.
