Connections using HDMI cables
This unit is equipped with 2 HDMI input jacks and I HDMI output jack. If your TV and other components have HDMI
jacks, use HDMI cables for simpler and easier connections, and you can skip the conriection procedures from page 22 to
25. If your TV has a built-in digital satellite tuner and an optical digital output jack, connect the optical digital output jack
on your TV to the TV/STB OPTICAL DIGITAL INPUT jack on this unit.

• Even if you connect your TV and this unit via the HOMI jack, you need to connect the video input jack on your TV to the VIDEO
OUT jack on this unit in order to display the OSO of this unit.
• When HOMI CONTROL is set to OFF (see page 82) and this unit is in the standby mode, the signals input at the HOMI IN jacks are
not output at the HOMI OUT jack.

We recommend that you secure the HOM! cable(s) with adhesive tape, etc. once you have connected the HOMI cable(s) to the HOM!
