To return the appliance to the original factory image, follow the instructions for factory default
restoration that come with the Compaq TaskSmart W-Series Appliance Quick Restore CD.

What it is
A tool that lets the server automatically
restart after a catastrophic operating
system failure.

CAUTION: The Compaq TaskSmart W2200 Appliance Server Quick Restore CD erases the
system and all data is destroyed. Save all configurations, users, and other important data to
another system before restoring factory defaults.

How to run it
This tool is a function of the combined
hardware and software system through
the RBSU. Set the ASR to enable.
Diagnostic software is located on the
Compaq website for easy download and
diskette creation. Run this utility from the
ROMPaq diskette after powering up the
system unit.
