PROCEDURE
STEP 1 Read and understand all steps in the instructions before starting the installation. Park
the motorcycle on a hard, level surface; turn off the ignition and allow the engine to cool.
STEP 2 As shown in PIC 1, locate the inside and outside crossbrace covers.
STEP 3 Clean the front crossbrace with warm soapy water and a clean towel. Dry the area
completely.
ATTENTION! Ensure the area of installation is free of grease, oil, dirt or other debris to ensure
proper adhesion. Küryakyn WILL NOT issue a warranty on any parts lost due to improper
installation.
STEP 4 As shown in PIC 2, test fit the inside crossbrace cover to the inside (engine side) of
the crossbrace. Center the crossbrace cover and mark the location with masking tape. This will
aid in final installation.
ATTENTION! The adhesive will not bond correctly if applied at temperatures less than 50°F. Do
not attempt this installation in temperatures less than 50°F.
STEP 5 Clean the inside of the crossbrace with the alcohol pad provided. Wipe dry with a
clean cloth.
