Step 1
Test fit the mesh ghrille in the factory bumper opening. On the backside of the
mesh grille are two threaded studs. Note where they make contact with the plastic
in the factory bumper opening and mark the point of contact (Fig 1).
Step 2
Now drill a 1/4" hole through the plastic in the factory bumper opening where
you made the contact marks (Fig 2). Now insert the mesh grille into the factory
bumper opening with the threaded studs on the mesh grille going through the
holes that you just drilled.
Step 3
From underneath the vehicle reach up behind the mesh grille and locate the two
threaded studs protruding through the plastic. You may need to unclip the rubber
splash guard on the bottom of the vehicle to reach the threaded studs. Place the
black washers and nylon lock nuts on the threaded studs and tighten the lock
nuts. Replace the clips on the splash guard if you removed them.
Installation complete.
