- NO DRILLING REQUIRED
- LOWER SPARE TIRE
INSTALLATION STEPS
If vehicle is equipped with an OEM Tow Hook: Remove permanently for hitch installation. Install time will increase
from 30 to 90 minutes.
1. Lower spare tire to allow access to the rear bumper support.
2. Remove (6) plastic fasteners from bumper fascia tabs. (Reuse later)
3. Gently pull bumper cover away from vehicle and raise hitch into position. Secure hitch with hex bolts and conical
washers through existing holes in bumper support.
4. Torque all 1/2" fasteners to 75 lb-ft.
5. Reinstall plastic push fasteners and bumper cover removed in step 2.
6. Raise spare tire back into position.
PERIODICALLY CHECK THIS RECEIVER HITCH TO ENSURE THAT ALL FASTENERS
ARE TIGHT AND THAT ALL STRUCTURAL COMPONENTS ARE SOUND.
