Ensure free access to mains. Use two lockable swivel castors to secure the device from rolling away. Make sure the swivel castors are unlocked before moving the device! 120/1/60 with 20-amp plug.

• Safety Precautions • Disconnect the mains plug prior to any cleaning or maintenance work! Do not perform any repairs on the shredder! (See page 17). Do not operate the machine without the safety flap (A). EMERGENCY STOP Safety Flap To stop the device in case of emergency: There are (2) labeled E-stops. - Page 5 • Safety Precautions • Destroyed material must not be emptied onto the floor ➞ Danger of slipping!

• Unpacking Device • ATTENTION! If at any point, device begins to fall, move out of the way! Total weight crated: 330 lb 1. Rotate the crate in the direction shown, lifting with one person on each side. Lift point for both sides of crate 2. -

• Installation • Installing the oiler: • Take the oiler holder out of the cabinet and hook it into the side of the cabinet (1.). • Remove the lid from the oil bottle (2.). • Put the oil tube into the oil bottle and screw on (3.). •... -

• Operation • Close the door. Plug into the wall socket. When using for the first time and when the oil bottle (C) is changed, machine must be primed with oil: • Press the rocker switch • Press, and hold the rocker switch “R“, until the LED (B) no longer blinks red. - Page 9 • Operation • Press the rocker switch (1.) : green LED is on; the machine is now ready for operation. Please note: Feed only one CD/DVD/BD at a time into the opening! Auto start / Auto stop: • Starts automatically when CD/DVD/BD is inserted (2.).
- Page 10 • Operation • LED shows red (F). Stops and reverses automatically if too much CDs/DVDs/BDs are inserted. (G): Flashing LED • Cutting shafts are automatically oiled. (B): Flashing LED • Oil bottle is empty.

- Page 12 • Operation • Stops automatically when bin is full enough (the bin is only half-full due to the weight, thus easier to empty) The “bin full“ indicator lights. • Remove the bag in the bin. • Replace the bag ensuring the bag is flush to all sides of the bin.
- Page 13 • Operation • The cutting head stops automatically and reverses if too much CDs/DVDs/BDs are inserted (rocker switch flashes). If required (jam): Open the safety flap (1.) Remove CDs/DVDs/BDs (2.) If needed, use needle nose plier to remove disc from the cutting head. Restart by tapping the rocker switch .

(2.) - Page 15 • Possible Malfunctions • ➞ Was the CD/DVD/BD fed into the center of the feed opening? (photocell) (H) ➞ Door open?
- Page 16 • Possible Malfunctions • ➞ Is the bin not half full? “Bin“ indicator illuminates but bag is not half full. ➞ Unplug from the main. Remove bin (1.) ➞ Clean the level sensor with a brush (2.).
- Page 17 • Possible Malfunctions • Machine will not stop. ➞ Unplug from the main. Clean the photo cell (H) with a small brush or Q-tip. ➞ By continuous operation tap the rocker switch to switch off. Machine stops. Overload protection. Please let the machine cool down.
