7. For correct polarity readings, connect the probe from positive to negative so that the direction
of current flow matches the arrow on the probe clip.
8. Must use the adapter provided with the probe for power supply.
5. Operation Steps
5. Operation Steps
1) Power supply
Power supply: Use the 12V standard adapter to power the probe.
2) Zero Calibration
Zero Calibration: Make sure the grip is locked (UNLOCK indicator is off) and press the auto-
zero button before measuring.
3) Connect to the oscilloscope
Connect to the oscilloscope: Connect the probe to the oscilloscope and make sure the
grounding of the oscilloscope is normal.
4) Select the range
Select the range: Select the appropriate range according to the range of the measured current.
5) Connect to DUT
Connect to DUT: Push the slider to open the jaw, put the wire into the jaw. Then close the jaw
head and push the slider forward until the UNLOCK indicator turns off.
6) Start the power supply of the DUT
Start the power supply of the DUT
7) Set up the oscilloscope
Set up the oscilloscope: Set the input impedance of the oscilloscope to 1MΩ, and make the
channel attenuation ratio consistent with the probe gear (50A 10X / 300A 100X), then adjust the
oscilloscope's vertical gear, time base, and trigger to normally observe the waveform.

1. Overview
1. Overview
Micsig CP3008 is a high-performance AC/DC current probe with up to 8 MHz bandwidth
and a dual-range design. It supports continuous measurements up to 300 A and peak currents
up to 500 A, with up to 1% accuracy and 10 mA resolution—ideal for high-frequency switching
power supplies and high-current applications.
With a high signal-to-noise ratio and low-noise design, it ensures precise signal capture.
Key features include built-in demagnetization, one-touch auto-zero, overload protection
alarm, and jaw closure indicator for safe, responsive operation. The standard BNC interface
provides broad compatibility with oscilloscopes from all major brands.
