Cutting the Threads

Raise the presser foot. Remove the fabric; pull the
threads to the back and cut threads using the thread
cutter. (The threads are cut the proper length to start the
next seam.)

Changing Sewing Direction

Stop the machine and press the "Up/Down Needle" key
to bring the needle down into the fabric. Raise the
presser foot using either the presser foot lever or knee
lifter.
Pivot the fabric around the needle to change sewing
direction. Lower the presser foot. Press the "Up/Down
Needle" key to bring the needle up. Sew in new direction.

Adjusting Needle Position

When you press the "Stitch Width/Needle Position" key,
the needle position can be set between 0.0 and 7.0.
Press the top/left "–" side of the key to move needle to
left.
Press the bottom/right "+" side of the key to move needle

The following stitches also have variable needle position:
6, 031 and 078.
