- Page 2 Energy Kinetics does not allow the use of PVC pipe for flue gas venting due to the fact that PVC pipe starts to soften and lose its shape at about 150°F. Energy Kinetics boiler supply temperatures can reach up to 210°F, which can allow flue gas temperatures to exceed this temperature limit of PVC.
