Purpose
This document outlines the procedure of replacing an existing pin box with a new pin box of the same
load rating.
Safety
The "WARNING" symbol above is a sign that an installation procedure has a safety risk involved
and may cause death or serious injury if not performed safely and within the parameters set forth
Failure to follow the instructions provided in this document may result in death, serious personal
injury and/or severe product and property damage, including voiding of the component warranty.
The trailer MUST be supported per manufacturer's specifications before working underneath.
Resources Required
• 1-2 people, depending on task
• Cordless or electric drill or screw gun
• Appropriate drive bits
• Torque wrench
• Impact wrench or ratchet
• Sockets
• Drift/centering pin
Due to the weight of the pin box, it is highly recommended at least two people install this system.
