WORKING WITH MULTIPLE TOOLS

The Wacom Tablet control panel is designed to help you customize and keep track of your Cintiq tool
settings. The tool you use to open the control panel is automatically selected, and the appropriate tabs for
that tool are displayed.
The T list displays an

icon for the tablet

been used on the tablet.
If application-specific
settings have not been
added, the A icon is

displayed and the tool
settings apply to all
applications.
Tip: You can give each tool a different name by double-clicking on the tool's
icon and entering a new name. For example, "Drawing Pen" or "Paint Brush".

To add a tool to the control panel's T
• When a new tool is placed on the tablet for the first time, it will function with the appropriate default
settings for that tool. If the Wacom Tablet control panel is open, the tool is automatically added to the
T list and you can customize the tool by changing the tab settings.

If a similar tool was previously added, the new tool will inherit the settings of the previously added tool.
These settings can then be customized for the newly added tool.
• When you select a tool that you have added to the T
displayed. Any changes you make to the tab settings will then apply to that tool. Your changes take
effect immediately.
To remove a selected tool from the T

Each Cintiq input tool has a Tool ID that makes it unique. Any custom
settings apply only to the specific tool for which they were made.
Identical Cintiq input tools will appear as numbered devices.
The selected tool is highlighted.
Tab settings apply only to the
selected tool and application.
Other supported tools, such as the Airbrush or Art Pen, will appear in the
T list with their respective names. When you use a supported tool on the

pen display tablet, the control panel automatically updates the corresponding
tab options.
