1. Inserting the battery
Slide open the battery cover on the unit.
Insert the batteries by following the + and – polarity.
as shown inside the battery casing.
2. Tips for using the clock/timer
• Timer capacity – Timer channels count time from 1 second to
99 hours, 59 minutes and 59 seconds in both counting and
countdown mode.
• The alarm will sound for 1 minute in countdown mode at the
end of the cycle. Press START/STOP to shut the countdown
off. If the alarm signal is not shut off it will automatically shut
itself off after 1 minute to save batteries. When the alarm signal
starts the timer will start the timekeeping so that you will know
how much time has elapsed since the countdown ended. If
you have selected and activated only one channel by pressing
START/STOP the corresponding channel symbol is shown on
the display. If all channels have been activated with the START/
STOP button, T1, T2, T3 and T4 will show on the display. The
blinking channel symbol indicates that the other channels are in
use. Press the respective channel button to see the actual time
for that channel.

3. Setting the clock
• Press and hold in CLOCK for 3 seconds until the numbers are
shown on the display.
• Press HR, MIN and SEC to set the time.
• Press CLOCK to start the clock. The seconds will continue to
count in clock mode. The clock works independently of the
timer channels. Whenever you press the clock button time will
show on the display. When a timer is being used T1, T2, T3 or
T4 will blink on the display.
4. 12/24 Hour display
• Slide the selector for 12/24 hour display to the mode you
desire.
• AM and PM will show for 12 hour display
5. Setting the timer for countdown
• Press timer 1, timer 2, timer 3 or timer 4 for the desired channel.
The selected timer symbol will show on the display.
• Press HR, MIN or SEC to program the desired time. You can
do a quick setting by holding in the respective button for 2
seconds. If an error occurs whilst setting press CLEAR to reset
to zero.
• Press START/STOP once to activate the timer. The timer will
countdown in seconds.
• When the countdown is finished the alarm signal will sound and
the timer starts the timekeeping in seconds. Press START/STOP
to shut the alarm signal and the timekeeping off. Every timer
channel has its own specific sound. Timer 1 has 1 beep that will
be repeated, timer 2 has 2 beeps that will be repeated, timer 3
has 3 beeps that will be repeated and timer 4 has 4 beeps that
will be repeated. If it is not shut off the alarm signal will shut off
after 60 seconds. The timekeeping continues until START/STOP
has been pressed in. Press CLEAR to reset the display to zero.
• Follow the same procedure for programming the other timer
channels. All channels can be used at the same time. If you use
several channels at the same time press respective channel
button to see the remaining countdown time. The channel
symbols indicate which channel the countdown refers to. A
blinking channel symbol indicates that other timer channels are
in use.
6. To stop/restart or reset the
countdown timer
• If you want to stop the timekeeping before the end press the
timer channel symbol and then START/STOP once. To resume
to the same timekeeping press START/STOP once more. If you
want to reset the timer press START/STOP and then CLEAR
which will reset the display to zero.
7. Memory function
After the timekeeping is finished and the timer is shut off the latest
countdown can be recalled by pressing START/STOP.
8. To set the timekeeping/timekeeper
• Press on desired channel. Press CLEAR to clear the display.
• Press START/STOP and the timekeeping will start with 1
second intervals.
• To stop the timekeeping press START/STOP. If you wish to
continue the same timekeeping press START/STOP again.
• To shut the timekeeping off press START/STOP and then
CLEAR. If the timekeeping/timekeeper is not shut off before it
reaches 99 hours, 59 minutes and 59 seconds the numbers will
blink until you press START/STOP. Press CLEAR to reset the
timer to zero.
Handling your timer
• Avoid exposing your timer to extreme temperatures, water or
hard impacts.
• Avoid contact with corrosives such as perfume, alcohol or
solvents.
