    Ethernet interface NOTICE The AMS 108i can communicate via TCP/IP and UDP. Standard is TCP/IP. In the case of com- munication via UDP, the UDP protocol must be activated via the display under the menu item Ethernet > Host communication.

    UDP and TCP/IP can be activated simultaneously and used in parallel. If you would like to use the TCP/IP protocol, you must also define whether the AMS 108i is to operate as a TCP client or as a TCP server.
