  • Page 4 GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS This appliance must be grounded. If it should malfunction or breakdown, grounding provides a path of least resistance for electric current to reduce the risk of electric shock. This appliance is equipped with a cord having an equipment-grounded conductor and grounding plug. The plug must be inserted into an appropriate outlet that is properly installed and grounded in accordance with all local codes and ordinances.

  • Page 6 General Features Switching on and off The vacuum unit and the electric pump can work simultaneously, allowing for recovery filter and pump back at the same time.   • Page 7 Filtering WARNING: Never use the chip basket together with the polypropylene filter. Always use either the chip basket alone OR the poly filter alone. (If used together, the space between the bottom of the basket and the bottom of the filter may fill too quickly). When to use the chip basket? The chip basket must always be used for the first filtration.
  • Page 8 Use and Maintenance Installing the Machine Models DV-CM4, DV-CM7.5-66, DV-CM 7.5-119: These machines can work anywhere a three-phase circuit of the proper voltage is available. Model DV-CM: This machine can work anywhere a single phase 220 volt is available. Operating Instructions First Filtration: Make sure the chip basket (2) is in place.

  • Page 10 Carry out this operation carefully to prevent formation of air pockets inside the suction pipe or the pump body. WARNING Frost can damage the pump if it remains full and inactive at freezing temperatures. The maximum noise of the electric pump when properly installed and operating within its limits does not exceed 70 dB(A).
  • Page 11 Troubleshooting The Suction is Weak: Make sure that the hose is not clogged, punctured or torn. Check the level of the liquid. If the tank is full, empty it before starting again. Make sure that the filter is not saturated or torn. Check any air leak from closing hooks, screws or gaskets.
