Transmitter sockets are either delivered by Emerson Process Management (optional) or Requirements manufactured by the yard according to drawings supplied.     The electronics housing has two entries with ½ - 14 NPT threads. ENTRIES Cable protective hoses delivered from Emerson Process Management requires special cable glands, supplied by Emerson Process Management. Properly seal unused ports to prevent moisture or other contamination from entering the terminal compartment of the electronics housing. Install wiring with a drip loop with the bottom of the loop lower than the cable/conduit entry.

Failure to do so may impair the protection provided by the equipment. The most effective grounding method is direct connection to earth ground with minimal impedance.
