ICF Duo PURPOSE Impulse centrifugal fan ICF Duo is designed to be used in closed rooms with a low ceiling, as well as in ventilation systems of underground parking lots or tunnels. The product creates a high-pressure jet of air, which directs stale air out of the room to ventilation shafts. Transported air must not contain any flammable or explosive mixtures, evaporation of chemicals, sticky substances, fibrous materials, coarse dust, soot and oil particles or environments forming hazardous substances, for example, toxic substances, dust, pathogenic germs.
TECHNICAL DATA The unit is rated as a class I electric appliance. The fan motor’s ingress protection rating against access to hazardous parts and water ingress is IP55. ICF Duo DESIGN AND OPERATING PRINCIPLE The unit’s casing is made of polymer-coated steel. Protective grilles are installed on the fans’ suction side to prevent the ingress of foreign objects. A deflector is installed on the air supply side for proper distribution of air and increased draft. Depending on the unit’s configuration, asynchronous or electronically commutated motors are used.
