    CPU Socket The AM5 socket is a modern CPU socket designed for AMD processors. It is a key component in contemporary computing systems, providing the foundation for powerful and efficient CPUs. Installing the CPU to the AM5 socket The surface of the AM5 CPU has two notches and a golden triangle to assist in correctly lining up the CPU for motherboard placement.
