(2) MEMO CALL [Memo Call]
• When a file for which a memo has been stored is called out, the "MEMO" indicator flashes for about
5 seconds or less.
• To call out the Memo data, select the file that you made a "MEMO" .
Then the "MEMO" indicator lights up.
MEMO
• Push the
button to enable Memo call function.
PARAMETERS
• When the
button is pushed in the Memo call mode, all the data stored in the memory
is loaded. DN-S3700 goes to standby mode at the called Cue point.
• When the playing pitch is loaded from the Memo with "PITCH" indicator flashes, playing Pitch is locked
until Pitch Slider comes same Pitch. While playing Pitch is locked, "PITCH" indicator keeps flashing.
NOTE
MEMO CALL of MP3 files may not be completed according to the file condition.
(3) MEMO CLEAR [Memo Clear]
• To clear one Memo data, select the file that you stored a MEMO.
Then the "MEMO" indicator lights up.

button to enable Memo clear function.

• Turn the
knob until "MEMO CLEAR" is displayed.

button is pushed in MEMO CLEAR mode, the Memo data is cleared and the
"MEMO" indicator on the display turns off.
• All the CD memos can be cleared at once using the utility mode ("ALL Clear" in the utility's memo data
mode (vpage 24)).
(4) Sharing memo data
When two DN-S3700s are connected by D-LINK, the memo data can be shared. The memo data
sharing function allows you to store up to 10,000 memos.
NOTE
When there is memo data for the same track on the two DN-S3700s, the memo data on the DN-S3700 on
which the memo was called out is used.
It is not possible to delete the memo data on the other DN-S3700 connected by D-LINK. Perform the
operation on the DN-S3700 on which the data is stored.
When the memo data on the other DN-S3700 connected by D-LINK can be referenced, it is not possible
to store the data even if there is no memo data on the DN-S3700 being operated. To store the data, either
cancel the D-LINK connection or first delete the memo data in question from the DN-S3700 connected by
D-LINK.
If memo's are set for Playlists they will remain intact as long as no changes are made to the Playlist. If
Playlist are altered in any way, the memo's will be lost.

About Character Input

With the DN-S3700, when inputting characters for playlist names, etc., the characters can be input using
from a keyboard.
Characters can be input efficiently in the same way as when operating a computer's keyboard.

Character Input Using the Keyboard

Input the character.
b When the characters are typed on the keyboard, they are added at the end of the character input
section.
Clearing characters.
b Delete characters in the character input section by operating the keyboard's "BACK SPACE" keys.
Enter the string of characters you have input.
b When the keyboard's "ENTER" key is operated, the string of characters in the character input section
is entered and move to the next screen.
NOTE
The characters usable on the DN-S3700 are as shown on the diagram below. Note that usable characters
differ according to the character input target.
