Field
Description
IP Address
Enter the IP address of the LAN interface of the router in dotted-decimal notation
(four decimal numbers, between 0 and 255, separated by periods, for example,
192.168.135.5). Every device on the TCP/IP network must have a unique IP
address. If you are using NAT, the IP address is not the address assigned to you by
your ISP.
Subnet Mask
Enter the subnetwork mask for the router. Unless you have a special need for
subnetting, use the default subnet mask calculated by the router. All hosts on the
LAN segment should use the same mask.
