  • Page 7 IntelliCharge Series DC Power Supply ICT LIMITED WARRANTY The warranty period on ICT products is two (2) years from date of purchase from an authorized ICT reseller or OEM with valid proof of purchase, or from date of shipment from the ICT manufacturing facility. The warranty period for a repaired product or part is ninety (90) days or the remainder of the unexpired term of the new product warranty period, whichever is greater.

    IntelliCharge Series DC Power Supply 1.0 INTRODUCTION The ICT IntelliCharge Series is a high efficiency DC power supply in a compact design with integrated battery charger that allows the battery charge to be regulated independently from the DC load outputs, allowing the battery to receive the optimal charging current without the load being affected.

    IntelliCharge Series DC Power Supply 2.5 Rack or DIN Rail Mounting The IntelliCharge Series may be rack mounted, or DIN rail mounted. 2.5.1 Rack Mounting (optional) Mount the unit in an enclosed, standard 19-inch equipment rack using the optional 19-inch rack mount tray (ICT-RM1U/RM2U).

    CAUTION All DC outputs of ICT’s DC power systems are isolated from chassis ground (floating). DC output returns can remain isolated from ground (DC-I) or can be grounded (DC-C), as per site grounding requirements and/or local or national electrical codes.

    2.8 Sensor and Alarm Connections The ALARM TEMP connector allows the IntelliCharge Series to report faults to an external monitoring device through a form-C contact; and to monitor the external temperature of an external battery pack.

    IntelliCharge Series DC Power Supply LVD contactor will disconnect the battery should it discharge below the set voltage level (See Table 10). 1. Choose a lead-acid battery with a nominal DC voltage rating (12, 24, 48 volts) that matches the power supply’s output voltage and has an amp-hour (Ahr) capacity rating of at least three times the maximum charge current setting of the power supply.

    (see Figure 5). Connect the load device’s output to the other terminal. 2.11 AC Power Source Connections AC input wiring to the IntelliCharge Series unit must be protected using an outlet with a branch rated circuit breaker of 20 amps or lower value.

    "CHARGE" LED is lit, indicating normal operation. A lit red "FAULT" LED indicates an alarm on the unit (see Section 6.2). The IntelliCharge Series will start up and operate at the factory default settings when AC power is connected, generally requiring no other set up or adjustment for basic operation.
