This lawn mower has been designed for cutting grass areas in a domestic garden. Not suitable for professional use. WARNING! Do not use the lawnmower when there is a risk for lighting. ▪ It is recommended to limit the duration of operation, in order to minimize the risks from noise and vibration.
  • Page 8 POWXG60240X Maintenance and storage ▪ Keep all nuts, bolts and screws tight to be sure the equipment is in safe working condition. ▪ Never store the equipment with petrol in the tank inside a building where fumes can reach an open flame or spark.

  • Page 10 POWXG60240X 9.1.2 Add gasoline (Fig. 5) WARNING: never fill fuel tank indoors, with engine running or until the engine has been allowed to cool for at least 15 minutes after running. NOTE: Engine delivered without gasoline, refuel 1.0 liter before starting the engine.
  • Page 11 POWXG60240X ▪ With the starter handle (4) in its support, take the starter handle (4) with your right hand and pull slowly until resistance is detected, then pull energetically on the starter handle (4) with starter rope through the support. (If the cold start is not sufficient enough, repeat this operation 2 or 3 times).
  • Page 12 POWXG60240X Mowing tips ▪ Under certain conditions, such as very tall grass, it may be necessary to raise the cutting height to reduce resistance (prevent overload of the engine) and leaving clumps of grass clippings. It may also be necessary to run the lawn mower over the area a second time.
  • Page 13 POWXG60240X ▪ Lift the side discharge flap (13), install the side discharge chute (19). NOTE: For the best performance in “side discharge chute” mode, insert the mulching block. NOTE : The side discharge guard needs to be closed for the 3 other types of mowing.

To avoid engine problems, the fuel system should be emptied before storage of 30 days or longer. Empty the gas tank, start the engine and let it run until the fuel lines and carburettor are empty.
