Thank you for purchasing the Bradshaw Junior Mesh Cradle. To install the mesh cradle please follow
the instructions carefully ensuring no steps are missed out.
Warning
Caution
1. Remove padding from protective packaging and recycle where applicable.
2. Set the Bradshaw Junior Bed at a comfortable working height, we advise 75% of full height
range to allow easy access to the underside of the mattress platform.
3. Remove mattress and all bedding from bed and place side rails in the raised position.
4. With pad flat on a clean level surface identify the backrest panel and the inside* of the pad.
*The inside of the pad faces the patient.

5. Ensure all zips are opened up and place the pad on top of the mattress platform.
6. Wrap the top pad section over the top rail and fasten using the zip ensuring the zip is on the
outer face away from the patient.

7. Wrap the lower two rails with the lower section of the pad and fasten with the zip.
8. Repeat steps 6 & 7 for the other side of the bed, ensuring the fixed section is above the
mattress platform.
9. Using the patient handset raise the knee break and backrest into the up position and lift the
calf section engaging the ratchet setting it into the horizontal position.

A risk assessment must be carried out on a patient by patient basis to
determine suitability of bed and mesh cradle.

This and the bed instructions for use must be read and understood fully
before fitting/using the accessory. Incorrect fitment or use could result
in injury or death.

Incorrectly fitted pads can lead to equipment damage or failure.
