    11.2 Scendere dalla carrozzina 1. Avvicinarsi il più possibile a fianco di una nuova seduta 2. Bloccare i freni delle ruote posteriori; per agevolare al massimo la discesa dalla carrozzina si consiglia di togliere il bracciolo dal lato dove si effettuano queste operazioni 3.

    11.5 Uso delle pedane (FIG.7) Le pedane possono essere regolate in lunghezza e inclinazione. REGOLAZIONE IN LUNGHEZZA: Svitare la vite in corrispondenza della parte terminale dello stelo della pedana poggiapiede utilizzando una chiave a brugola di 5 mm. In questo modo si può re- golare la lunghezza della pedana per adattarla all’esigenza del paziente.

  • Page 23 11.3 Stairs and height difference (how to face them) WARNING! The following method must be used only from experienced patients. If you are not experienced, let you help from an assistant. GET ON: Position the wheelchair at the curb to be crossed. Balance the wheelchair on the rear wheels, in order to lift the front wheels, enough to lean them on the obstacle.
  • Page 24 11.6 Use the reclining backrest Press the release lever (Fig.8), push slightly the backrest downwards to adjust the inclination of the backrest.   • Page 25 11.11 Use the brakes REAR BRAKES ACTIVATED BY THE OPERATOR: To lock the brakes, press the corresponding ones levers (right and left) on the rear push handle.     11.2 Bajarse de la silla de ruedas 1. Acercarse todo lo posible a otro asiento donde sentarse 2. Bloquear los frenos de las ruedas traseras; para facilitar al máximo la bajada de la silla de ruedas se recomienda quitar el brazo de la silla del lado donde se realicen estas operaciones 3.

    11.5 Uso de los estribos (FIG.7) Es posible regular la longitud y la inclinación de los estribos. REGULACIÓN DE LA LONGITUD: Desenroscar el tornillo en la parte terminal del vástago del estri- bo reposapiés utilizando una llave Allen de 5 mm. De esta manera se puede regular la longitud del estribo para adaptarla a las necesidades del paciente.
