Intended Use:

FlexoStretch accessory is intended for lifting and transferring
patients in a horizontal supine position. The width of
the stretcher can be adjusted between 70 and 95 cm
(27.5‑35.4 in.), by pulling the lift arms either out or in.
FlexoStretch accessory is equipped with a Stretch Leveller to
make it easy to control the center of gravity during the lift.
It is intended for use in following environments: Health care,
Intensive care, Emergency ward, Rehabilitation, Habilitation
and Home healthcare environment.
In this document, the person being lifted is referred to as the patient, and the person helping is referred to as the caregiver.
IMPORTANT!
Lifting and transferring a patient always involves a certain level of risk. Read the instructions for use for both the patient
lift and lifting accessories before use. It is important to completely understand the contents of the instructions for use.
The equipment should only be used by a trained caregiver. To be trained, a caregiver needs to read and understand the
Instructions for Use. Ensure that the lifting accessories are suitable for the lift used. Exercise care and caution during use.
As a caregiver, you are always responsible for the patient's safety. You must be aware of the patient's ability to make it
through the lifting situation. If something is unclear, contact the manufacturer or supplier.

    Do not store the product where it will be exposed to direct sunlight, or to heat sources such as a radiator, fireplace, or stove/oven. The FlexoStretch has not been tested for use in the Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) setting. Transfer the patient to a compatible surface to do an MRI, and remove the stretcher from the MRI room.

    The FlexoStretch accessory can be equipped with Quick‑release Hook Universal for easy mounting on the lift without tools. The lift must be equipped with a Liko Q‑link connector. Some Liko lifts include this as a standard feature (Multirall overhead lift, all Likorall overhead lifts except for model 242 with mechanical emergency lowering). Other lifts can be equipped with the Q‑link connector as an added option.

    FlexoStretch in a location where it can be lifted using natural postures and good lifting form to prevent injuries. Use a cart, stretcher, or mobile lift to transport the FlexoStretch, especially when you need to go long distances. If you can not use a cart, stretcher, or mobile lift, see below for instructions to carry the FlexoStretch.
