A degree of ventilation shall continue during the period that the work is carried out. The ventilation should safely disperse any released refrigerant and preferably expel it externally into the atmosphere.

Repair to intrinsically safe components • Do not apply any permanent inductive or capacitance loads to the circuit without ensuring that this will not exceed the permissible voltage and current permitted for the equipment in use. • Intrinsically safe components are the only types that can be worked on while live in the presence of a flammable atmosphere.

For appliances containing flammable refrigerants other than A2L refrigerants, the system shall be purged with oxygen-free nitrogen to render the appliance safe for flammable refrigerants. This process may need to be repeated several times. Compressed air or oxygen shall not be used for purging refrigerant systems.

    BASIC OPERATION PRINCIPLE We know from experience, the natural flow of heat, moves from a higher to a lower temperature source, a heat pump can transfer heat from a lower temperature source to a higher temperature source with high e ciency. The advantage of a heat pump water heater is that it can supply more heat energy, normally 3:1 times than input electricity power by extracting the heat from ambient atmosphere in a free charge way and transfer to Sanitary Hot Water.
