Before Using This Product for the First Time This product does not include any poles, pegs, or hammers. For basic setup, you need a pole, pegs, and some ropes in addition to this product. Purchase the neces- sary items upon referencing the recommended sizes and quantity below. Setup Procedure Make sure that two or more people take part in the setup. Follow the instructions below to practice setting up and packing up this product several times in order to prepare yourself for the actual camping. Inadequate setup and packing up may result in damage to the main unit, poles, and/or Land Lock, and further lead to accidents.

Move the tarp over the Land Lock. Grip the edges of the longer wing of the tarp and cover the Land Lock with the tarp as you move around the Land Lock. Here, flip the tarp so that the top side faces up. Attach the rest of the connecting hooks.

Erect the wing pole and peg down the ropes. Insert the end of the wing pole into the triangle fitting on the tarp side, and then hook the forked rope loop over it. Referring to “Ropes with Tensioner and Pegging Locations” on page 19, erect the wing pole and peg down the forked ropes.

Attach the connecting hooks of the inner roof. Attach the hooks on the three front locations of the inner roof to the O-rings at the respective corners of the tarp. Adjust the tarp position and complete the setup. Adjust the adjustment belt of the inner roof and the tension of the ropes to adjust the position of the tarp.

When setting up the tarp on its own Spread the tarp. Spread the tarp with the side that has the logo facing up on flat ground where you want to set up the tarp. Topside Insert the end of the wing pole into the triangle fitting, and then hook the forked rope loop over it.

Adjust the position of the tensioner of the rope to slacken the ridge line about 20%. This slack creates the beautiful curve when the tarp setup is complete. Slack Attach a rope to each corner and peg it down. Referring to “Ropes with Tensioner and Pegging Locations” on page 20, pull the ropes along the extensions of the tapes with grommet in the corners and peg them down.

Connect the corners of the inner roof. Attach the buckles and hooks on the corners of the inner roof to the buckles and O-rings at the corners of the tarp. (5 locations) Adjust the tension of each rope. In the order of the numbered ropes at the corners, adjust the tension of the entire setup by applying the same tension to all of the ropes.

Precautions for Disassembly and Storing ●Dry well before storing the product. ●Start packing up after confirming that there is nothing left under the tarp. ●Pull out all pegs and clean them. Store them in the peg case with the heads facing down. Store all the poles inside the pole case.

Storage Procedure Fold the tarp in two. Fold the tarp in two as shown in the illustration, with the back side inside and the triangle fitting as a guide. * Since the wings are not symmetrical, one of the wings will protrude. Fold the tarp to match the width of the carrying bag.

Peak Customer Service. If there are apparent defects in the product's manufacturing, the defective product will be repaired or exchanged free of charge. In other cases, Snow Peak will repair the product for an appropriate fee. The decision to repair or replace the product will be at our discretion. Snow Peak will not repair the product for any damage that occurred due to the following 1.
