Emergency Action Plan
Create an action plan with your emergency contact. This ensures that everyone is aware of the
appropriate actions to take should your Personal Alarm be triggered. For example, your contact
could use the location provided on the text alert to call the police for you.
Turning Off/On the Personal Alarm
To conserve battery, you can turn off the Personal Alarm when it's not needed. Simply turn the
Help button to the UNLK position, then press and hold the Help button for 20 seconds until you
hear a long beep. A notification from the app will confirm that the Personal Alarm is disconnected.
To turn the Personal Alarm back on and reconnect it to your phone, turn the Help button to the
UNLK position, then press and hold the Help button for 5 seconds until you hear a double beep. A
notification from the app will confirm that the Personal Alarm is connected.
Disconnection Alert
The Personal Alarm will emit a 20-second beep whenever it goes out of Bluetooth range. You'll
also receive a notification from the app indicating that the Personal Alarm is disconnected. The
Personal Alarm will automatically reconnect to your phone once it's back within range. You can
turn off the "Disconnection Alert" via the device settings in the app.
Accidentally Pressing the Help Button
If you accidentally press the Help button, don't worry! Inform your emergency contact that it was
accidental and you don't need assistance. To prevent unintentional button presses, keep the
Personal Alarm in the LOCK position. Only do this when you're in a safe place or feel secure!
Checking Battery Level
You can check the current battery level of the Personal Alarm via the device settings in the app.
