SETTING UP THE PERSONAL ALARM
1 Scan the QR code on the right or search for
"Swann Security" in the Apple App Store
Google Play™ Store to download the Swann
Security app.
2 Open the Swann Security app and sign in, or tap "Not yet registered? Sign Up" to create your
Swann Security account. Activate your account by confirming the verification email sent to
your registered email address.
3 Pair the Personal Alarm. In the Swann Security app, tap "Pair Device" and follow the on-screen
instructions. Make sure to grant permissions for Bluetooth and Location Services when
requested by the app.
4 Add the details of your emergency contact. You can update this information at any time to
ensure it remains current.
IMPORTANT! To maintain a continuous connection between your Personal Alarm and phone:
•
Ensure Bluetooth is always on. The Personal Alarm communicates with your phone via
Bluetooth.
•
Keep the Swann Security app running in the background.
•
Keep your phone close to the Personal Alarm. Distance or physical barriers can interfere
with the Bluetooth connection.
•
Please note that location reporting and emergency texts require data coverage.
