Installation guide for Kratki ARKE 80
1.
The opening space in wall required for this ARKE 80 fireplace should be
exactly
820mm wide
610mm high
With this exact size opening the fireplace will slot into the opening and the frame
will cover the small gap between the fireplace and brickwork. Plastering and
painting can be finished before the fireplace installation.
2.
The depth of the cavity should be minimum 470mm deep.
3.
If the Arke 80 has the fan system included then the fireplace will require
an electrical connection for fans. Please provide an electrical conduit running
from a nearby isolator switch through to the bottom edge of the ledge that the
fireplace is sitting on (see image below, the conduit can be positioned anywhere
on red line to thread the heat resistant electrical cable through). The conduit
needs to run on the lower level of the ledge as indicated by the red line.
Chimney cavity
Below image – "45-degree bends avoid lintels" If the wall on front face of
fireplace is a double brick wall then the inside lintel should be set at least 400mm
higher to allow space for 45-degree bends.
The chimney cavity space running vertically should allow at least 250 x 250mm
space for the flue pipes (if using 200 diameter flue pipes).
