    Using for the first time Note If the location of the appliance is changed, because of the heat pump it must stand in its final position for around 2 hours before it can be operated again. Failure to do this can result in damage to the appliance. The appliance must be installed and connected to the electricity supply in accordance with the separate installation instructions.

    4 Programme overview Indicator light The buttons for the main programmes, the additional programme and certain additional functions are equipped with an indicator light. Activity State Indicator light is illuminated. Function is active. Indicator light is flashing. Function is selectable. Indicator light remains dark.

    5 Drying Additional functions Programme Description Load Easy care Gentle drying for mixed fabrics (e.g. shirts, 1–2.5 kg pullovers and T-shirts). The level of dryness is reduced.     5 Drying If no programme selection is made within 20 seconds, all the displays go out. However, it is still possible to make a programme selection. General note on programme selection Use the 'Programme overview' to determine which programme is the most suitable for your washing.

    5 Drying ▪ Crease guard: The dried washing is moved at frequent intervals to prevent creasing. If the additional «Easy care» function has been selected, «Crease guard» runs 90 minutes; with all other programmes it runs 30 minutes. «Crease guard» can be stopped at any time by opening the appliance door or by touching the button.

    5 Drying Selecting easy care ▸ Press the button while the indicator light is flashing. Selecting a delayed start ▸ Immediately after programme selection, hold the button depressed or press re- peatedly until the required delayed start duration (max. 24 hours) appears in the dis- play.

    5 Drying Interrupting a programme A running programme can be interrupted at any time to add or remove an item of wash- ing before time. After the appliance door is closed, the heat pump waits 5 minutes before starting again and the programme duration is correspondingly lengthened. ▸...

    6 User settings 5.12 End of programme – appears in the digital display. – The indicator light for the pro- gramme that has finished illu- minates. «Crease guard» starts if the appliance is not unloaded. When it has finished, all the dis- plays go out.

    6 User settings Exiting user settings ▸ Touch the button repeatedly until the digital display goes out. If no button is touched within the next 20 seconds, user settings is exited and the digital display goes out.     6 User settings Changing the level of dryness The appliance is designed to provide the most energy-efficient drying. The moisture sensor continually monitors the level of dryness of the washing. If the washing is not be- ing dried sufficiently – or being overdried – the level of dryness can be reset. Changing the level of dryness alters the level of dryness setting of all the pro- grammes.
