    Removing the existing handle and cylinder Do not close door until installation is complete. Make note of your current fixing screw positions. The Cam Turn the key in any direction to align the cam (as shown above) and remove the cylinder.

    Measuring your door Measure the thickness of the door to select the correct fixing pack. INSIDE Door thickness Door thickness Door thickness 44-50mm 70mm 58-65mm Measure the distance between the centre of the lock and the inside of the door to select the correct size Tailbar. You will see 3 dots on the Tailbars that represent how far it should be pushed into the Actuator.

    Installing the Actuator The what? The Actuator is the important bit that interacts with the Tailbar, holds the Cam and sits inside the door to lock / unlock your door. The slot in the Actuator for the Tailbar should be in the vertical position.

    Installing the External Handle Refer to the current fixing screw positions you noted down earlier. And screw the lugs from Fixing Pack A into position as required. You may need to screw in an extra lug depending on your current screw fixing positions.

  • Page 14 Rotate the small cog to turn the arrows so they point upwards and the slot for the tailbar is vertical. Remove the cover for the Yale Access Module. Use a cross head screwdriver to release the screw and remove the battery cover.
  • Page 15 Installing the Internal Handle INSIDE Locate the port for the micro plug on the back of the Internal Conexis® Handle. Insert the micro plug into the port matching the red marking on the plug to the one on the port. Take care when handling the micro plug as the pins are delicate.

    Handing The Lock Ok, so this may sound weird, but it is an important step to make sure your Conexis® L2 is correctly configured to left or right handed use. Hold ‘R’/ ‘Handing Button’ for 15sec until “Beep Beep” Depress the handle fully and then return to the centre.

    6) Follow the in-app instructions to set up your new device. If you plan to unlock Conexis® L2 remotely or use with Google or Alexa, the Yale Home app will guide you through the set up of the Yale Connect Wi-Fi Bridge, which will enable these features.

    Pairing Key Tags 1. Open the Yale Home App 2. Open the Guest List using the icon on the bottom bar. Tap then select Contactless Key Only. 3. Enter the name of person to whom the Key Tag will be registered, then press Continue.

    Test you can unlock the door via the app. Lift the handle to lock again. Tap the paired Key Tag on the External Handle under the Yale logo. Make sure it unlocks and the lever can be pushed down. Lift the handle to lock again.

    Battery Indicator Low Battery When the battery is low, you will receive a push alert from the Yale Home App plus an email (this function is for owners only and not users). You will also hear the lock play a tune.

    Factory Reset If you need to restore the lock to factory default settings, please follow the instructions in the Yale Home app under ‘Lock Settings’ Remember this will remove ALL existing credentials - App access (including the Yale Dot), Key Tags, Phone Tags, Keypads (PIN code / fingerprints).
