You are responsible for assembling and securing Flatline Van Co products to your vehicle, checking the mounting points and attachments prior to use, and regularly inspecting the products for wear and or damage.

  • Page 5 INSTALL TOOLS REQUIRED FOR THIS STEP: AUTO PANEL REMOVAL TOOL STEP | 01 LAYOUT AND INSTALL PREP 1.1 Door Panel Removal: If applicable, start by removing the lower interior door panel (FIG 1) and any obstructions in the areas shown in FIG 2 (wires, insulation, etc.). We recommend using plastic panel removal tools (easily found at harbor freight or similar).
  • Page 6 TOOLS REQUIRED FOR THIS STEP: MEASURING TAPE RUST PREVENTATIVE PAINT MARKER PAINTER’S TAPE 13/32” DRILL BIT POWER DRILL STEP | 02 DRILL FOR BACKER MOUNTS 2.1 Prepare for Drilling: Move to the exterior of the van to mark the first hole. Apply a layer of painter’s tape over the mounting areas to protect the paint from scratches during drilling.
  • Page 7 9/16” WRENCH OR SOCKET TOOLS REQUIRED FOR THIS STEP: 7/32” ALLEN WRENCH 7/16” SOCKET POWER DRILL STEP | 03 LADDER INSTALL 3.1 Install Rear Door Ladder: Position the ladder on the door and insert the 3/8-16 Button Head Screws through the mounting holes, then position the backer plates as shown in FIG 7 and 9.
