    1. Press and hold the Power Button on top of your speaker to turn on your EcoExplorer XL. 2. Search your Bluetooth Connection on your smart device. Choose ECOXGEAR-XL to pair. 3. Select and play your music.
  • Page 3 · Refer to Audio Set Up for additional details. · Wireless Pairing of Two EcoExplorer XL Speakers: After one speaker has connected to a smart device via Bluetooth pairing and you have started playing your music, turn on a second EcoExplorer XL speaker and double-click the Bluetooth Button on both speakers to enable wireless pairing between them.
  • Page 4 Overview Master Volume Buttons · Master Volume: Short-press once to decrease or to increase speaker’s Master Volume (volume levels are 0 to 16). The LED Party Lights will illuminate, one segment at a time per each short-press of the Button until the LED ring is complete. Note: Some Bluetooth devices may require to be set to maximum volume for the speaker to be able to reach maximum audio level.

  • Page 6 Bluetooth Button. Note: Your EcoExplorer XL shall sync & wirelessly pair with most Bluetooth-enabled devices. The unit remembers the last device paired and will automatically search for previous connections when the speaker is turned on or when a device comes back into Bluetooth range.
  • Page 7 2. Open the Waterproof Rubber Door on the back panel. 3. Plug in the other end of the 3.5mm Audio Cable into the EcoExplorer XL’s Aux-In Jack. The backlit Power Button will shine White, and the speaker will announce, “Aux-In Mode.” The speaker can now play audio from the source unit.
  • Page 8 Wirelessly Pair Two Speakers 1. Power on one EcoExplorer XL (Speaker A). Turn on Bluetooth on your smart device and put it into pairing mode. Select ECOXGEAR-XL speaker from the list of discovered Bluetooth devices. Wait for a few seconds until the connection is completed.

    To access the connections, slowly pull the Waterproof Rubber Door from the left side. Connect the included USB-A to USB-C Cable to the USB-C Input. Then connect the other end of the USB cable to a 5V USB power source to charge your EcoExplorer XL.

    CAUTION: Do NOT charge if unit and/or connections are wet or damp. Aux-In Connect an audio device to your EcoExplorer XL using the included 3.5mm Aux-In Cable to the speaker’s Aux-In Jack as an alternative to a Bluetooth connection. Factory Reset If you wish to conduct a Factory Reset, press the Reset Button.

    You can input a guitar into this ¼” (6.35 mm) Guitar Jack. Power Saving Auto Shut-Off If no device is connected to the speaker for 15 minutes, whether via Bluetooth or an Aux-In connection, the EcoExplorer XL will automatically power down to conserve battery life.
