MAINTENANCE
TAKE CARE
All cleaning tasks must be carried out when the barbecue is switched off, and when the gas valve
•
is turned off at the source.
Internal cleaning (pirolisis): leave the barbecue lit with a big flame, keep the hood open, and do
•
this after each use to burn the grease and other residues left by the food.
After each use, it's essential to clean and degrease the extractable grease collection train with
•
warm water and soap, using a cloth or a soft sponge. It's advisable to use a 10-15mm layer of
sand in the lower part of the grease collection tray.
Clean the grease residue from the diffusors, racks, and tank after use.
•
LID
Use a soapy solution. A nonabrasive powder can be used to clean more difficult stain, rinse off
•
with water afterwards.
Deposits that form within the BBQ that look like peeling paint are carbonized grease. These can
•
be effectively cleaned off using a soapy solution, with warm water, followed by rinsing with clean
water. Then leave to dry completely.
WARNING:
BOTTOM OF THE TANK
Use a soapy solution to clean. You can use a nonabrasive powder for more difficult patches, and
rinse with water afterwards. Then leave to dry completely.
GRILLE/RACKING
Use a soapy solution, a non-abrasive powder can be used to clean tougher spots.
BURNERS
Disconnect the gas canister and shut off the gas valve completely.
•
Remove the grille/rack.
•
Clean the burners with a fine brush or a spray, and dry with a cloth.
•
Clean all obstructed holes with a tube brush or a metallic skewer for smaller holes.
•
Check that none of the burners are damaged (holes or cracks). If one is damaged, replace with a
•
new burner, and check that all the parts are in the right place, and well secured.
15/11/2024
