    3.1 Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung: Die Travel Ultralight Motoren, in Verbindung mit den angebotenen Batterievarianten, sind für Kajaks und Kanus geeignet. Die Motoren sind für den Betrieb in Salz- und Süßwasser, sowie für Gewässer ohne Chemikalien konzipiert. Die Befestigung erfolgt an einem dafür vorgesehenen Anschlagpunkt am Heck eines Kajaks, dass für die Leistung des verwendeten Motors ausgelegt ist.

    3.3 Sicherheitseinrichtungen 3.3.1 Sicherheitseinrichtungen Motor Sicherheitseinrichtung Funktion Not-Stopp-Magnetchip Bewirkt eine sofortige Abschaltung des Antriebs. Der Propeller kommt zum Stillstand, das System bleibt eingeschaltet. Elektronischer Schutz gegen unkontrolliertes Vermeidet unkontrolliertes Anlaufen des Systems Anlaufen nach dem Einschalten. Um zu fahren, muss zuerst der Fahrhebel/die Pinne in die Neutralposition gebracht werden und der Not-Stopp-Magnetchip aufgelegt werden.

    6 Montage und Befestigung am Boot WARNUNG Rotierende Bauteile! Schwere Schnittverletzungen können die Folge sein. a) Entfernen Sie den Not-Stopp-Magnetchip und entnehmen Sie dem Motor die Batterie bevor Sie Arbeiten oder Inspek- tionen am Propeller durchführen. b) Stellen Sie sicher, dass während dem Durchführen von Ar- beiten am Motor, dieser gegen Wiedereinschalten gesi- chert ist.

Es darf keine Montagepaste an der Stelle des Schaftrohrs aufgetragen werden, an der das Schaftrohr in der Schwinge geführt wird, da dadurch der Lenkwiderstand erhöht werden könnte.

    6.3.5 Motor in Schwinge einbauen (Steuerdreieck unten) Für diese Variante der Montage ist das Klemmringset für Ultralight (Artikelnummer 7014-00) erforderlich. HINWEIS! Beachten Sie die Reihenfolge beim Auftragen der Montagepaste! Es darf keine Montagepaste an der Stelle des Schaftrohrs aufgetragen werden, an der das Schaftrohr in der Schwinge geführt wird, da dadurch der Lenkwiderstand erhöht werden könnte.

    j) Positionieren Sie den Klemmring spaltfrei (Pfeil) unter der Schwinge und ziehen Sie die Schraube und Mutter (8) fest. k) Positionieren Sie den Klemmring mit Tiltarm (9) auf dem Schaftrohr, beachten Sie dabei die Einbauhöhe und Einbaurichtung und ziehen Sie die Schraube und Mutter (10) fest.

    6.3.8 Leinen montieren Beachten Sie bei der Montage der Leinen folgende Punkte: • Vermeiden Sie Scheuerstellen an scharfen Kanten, Ecken oder spitzen Gegenständen. • Achten Sie darauf, dass alle Leinen frei beweglich sind. • Verlegen Sie alle Leinen wenn möglich direkt und mit möglichst wenigen Umlenkungen. Im Lieferumfang befinden sich 8 Meter Leine für die Verwendung als Steuer- und Tiltleine.
  • Page 34 d) Befestigen Sie die Umlenkrolle (3) mit dem Karabiner (4) am Tiltarm. e) Führen Sie die Leine durch die Leinendurchführung an der Halterung (5) und setzen Sie einen Knoten (6) am Ende der Leine, um diese zu sichern. f) Führen Sie das andere Ende der Leine durch die Umlenkrolle, dann durch die Öse (7) an der Halterung.

    6.4 Batterie montieren Beachten Sie für die Montage der Batterie folgende Punkte: • Stellen Sie sicher, dass die Batterie sicher befestigt ist und ein Verrutschen oder Verlieren ausge- schlossen sind. • Planen Sie die Montage der Batterie so, dass der Abstand zwischen Motor und Batterie die Kabellänge nicht überschreitet, um sicherzustellen, dass Kabel und Steckverbindungen zu jedem Zeitpunkt zugfrei und lastfrei sind.

    6.5 Fahrhebel montieren 6.5.1 Fahrhebel am Boot montieren a) Bestimmen Sie eine geeignete Stelle für Ihren Fahrhebel. b) Bauen Sie die Schrauben (1) aus und trennen Sie den Fahrhebel (2) vom Befestigungsblech (3). c) Verwenden Sie das Befestigungsblech als Schablone, um die 4x 5,5 mm Löcher für die Befestigung zu bohren.

    6.5.2 Fahrhebel-Datenkabel verlegen und mit Motor verbinden Anforderungen an die Verlegung von Da- tenkabeln Befestigen Sie Datenkabel alle 400 mm. Bringen Sie an Stellen, an denen keine Befestigung möglich ist, einen Scheuerschutz an, um den Mantel des Kabels zu schützen. Bündeln oder verlegen Sie Datenkabel nicht mit stromführenden Kabeln oder Antennenkabeln, halten Sie mindestens 100 mm Abstand, um Störungen zu vermeiden.

    7.2 Bedienung in Notsituationen Sie können Ihren Torqeedo Motor im Notfall auf mehrere Arten stoppen. Das System verfügt dafür über entsprechende Sicherheitseinrichtungen. Je nach Modell, verfügt das System entweder über einen Not- Stopp-Magnetchip an der Pinne oder über einen Not-Stopp-Magnetchip am Fahrhebel. Beachten Sie dabei, dass die Art des Stoppens Einfluss auf die Wiederinbetriebnahme hat.

    7.3 Bedienung der Halterung 7.3.1 Rückwärtsfahrt-Fixierung Ihr Travel Ultralight verfügt über eine automatische Motortilt-Funktion. Bei unvorhergesehenen Grundberührungen sorgt diese dafür, dass der Motor nach oben tiltet um ggf. Schäden zu vermeiden. Wenn Sie Rückwärtsfahrt geben möchten, müssen Sie diese Funktion aussetzten indem Sie während der Rückwärtsfahrt die Rückwärtsfahrt-Fixierung betätigen und somit die automatische Motortilt-Funktion...

    7.3.3 Motor Tilt-Einrichtung Ihr Motor verfügt über einen Motortilt mit dem Sie den Motor bei Nichtbenutzung aus dem Wasser tilten können. Um den Motortilt auch während der Fahrt nutzen zu können, liegt der Schwerpunkt des Motors hinter der Schwinge, so ist sichergestellt, dass Sie den Motor jederzeit wieder nach unten in das Wasser tilten können, um die Fahrt fortzusetzen.

    7.3.5 Motor trimmen Mit der Trimmeinrichtung des Motors können Sie den Motor optimal zur Wasseroberfläche ausrichten. Der Motor ist optimal getrimmt, wenn der Motorschaft senkrecht zur Wasseroberfläche steht. a) Tilten Sie den Motor nach oben und sichern Sie die Leine für Motortilt in der Klemme.

    HINWEIS! Batterie nicht trennen! 7.5.3 Batterie anschließen Ihr Torqeedo Travel ist innerhalb kürzester Zeit fahrbereit. Der Motor ist nach dem Anschließen der Batterie bereit für den Betrieb. Laden Sie die Batterie vor jeder Nutzung auf, um die maximale Reichweite zu erreichen.
