In their testing, RIM monitored the number of messages that the BlackBerry Enterprise Server received during
each test run. Because the agent driving the load has some randomness associated with it (for example the
number of recipients selected for an email message is between 3 and 5), the results varied slightly from test to
test; however, the results remained within a reasonable range.
Enabling the BlackBerry Enterprise Server features had little or no effect on wireless message and wireless
calendar synchronization. The BlackBerry Enterprise Server was able to maintain the same messaging throughput
with each testing scenario.
