    Disconnecting the Vacuum Rods Whilst your ACTIV8 can be stored away with both rods still attached when not in use, you may be required to disconnect the rods in certain circumstances such as for transport or when storing it in a location with less storage space.

    4. You can continue to tap the Smart Button with your foot to toggle between High-Speed and Low-Speed modes. 5. To turn ACTIV8 OFF, simply hold your foot down on the Smart Button for approximately 2 seconds and the device will power down.

    If your ACTIV8 stops picking up dirt, it means that the dust tray is full. Empty the tray as per the instructions below, replace and then continue sweeping as required.

    If the battery has been fully depleted, charging time will take approximately 2.5 hours to fully recharge. If using your ACTIV8 daily, it is recommended that you discharge the battery fully at least once per week to prolong the life of the battery.

    The roller brushes are designed to be easily removed whenever they need to be cleaned or replaced. 1. Turn off your ACTIV8, remove the vacuum rod from the neck swivel joint and turn ACTIV8 upside down (with the neck swivel joint folded underneath and pointing away from you).

    1. Remove the vacuum rods from the swivel joint and turn the unit upside down. 2. Remove the dust tray as per the instructions provided in the ‘Using ACTIV8 as a Cordless Sweeper’ section of this manual.

    ACTIV8 in sweeper mode. Remember to insert the red cap to stop dust escaping from the end of the rod. Using your ACTIV8 as a sweeper will still provide a deep clean on stairs.

    4. On hard floors, try operating in Low-Speed mode. 5. If your ACTIV8 is being used on very shiny floors, try using a softer brush. 6. If you are using your ACTIV8 on carpet, ensure the power is on the High-Speed mode.
